Mitch has a passion for patient safety and staff satisfaction. He is grounded in the principles of high reliability, loves to create system solutions, and is a firm believer in deference to expertise!

Mitch takes great pride in his approach to patient safety and regulatory compliance. He understands that systems solutions are best created through developing relationships and by partnering with the people who do the work. He has learned through experience that while he may be best versed at identifying an issue, pinpointing an outcomes metric, standardizing process, or delivering on the roll out; it is the people who are closest to the work that deliver on the “how” we are going to collectively get there.

Mitch has more than 12 years’ experience as a leader in healthcare and currently serves as the AVP for Accreditation and Patient Safety for a health care system in NJ, and as a national consultant for Healthcare Accreditation and CMS conditions of participation.

Mitch has a clinical background is in Pediatric Intensive Care, and Adult Neuro Sciences. He is a Masters prepared Registered Nurse, is certified in Lean Six Sigma, and is a Certified Joint Commission Professional.
